I am so pleased to write this review of my experience with Dr. Kyle Huynh. From the very beginning his demeanor and knowledge instilled a lot of confidence. He is very caring and personable. Upon exam, Dr. Huynh Informed me that I had cataracts in both eyes and recommended that I have cataract surgery. He explained the different lenses that can be used, the procedure and told me the surgery center that he uses. After testing he confirmed that I could have the lenses I chose implanted Following each procedure, he followed up closely to insure I had the best outcome. The surgical center was excellent in all respects. After my second surgery, Dr. Huynh informed me that I would not need to wear corrective lenses anymore, which I had worn for several years. His attention to detail is exemplary. I also commend all the office staff who are wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Huynh as an ophthalmologist. More

I had a very difficult cataract surgery due to a scar on my cornea. Dr Huynh is very professional, knowledgeable and caring doctor. I am pleased and satisfied with the results and my vision also has improved. From the diagnosis to the post op care, I felt well informed and cared for. I have delayed this surgery for years because I was seeking an Ophthalmologist I can trust. I highly recommend Dr Huynh for any cataract surgery. More

Dr Huynh is the best. His bedside manner is second to none and he is gifted surgery. He is the only person I would let operate on my eyes. More

I have never been so well taken care of. I had a medical situation arise with my eye (not shocking considering this is an ophthalmology practice) and as a result I need to take disability leave from work. Susan Green, who I believe is the main administrator, was SO DILIGENT and HELPFUL and PROMPT in a situation that was wildly stressful and scary on my end. (I am also 7.5 months pregnant.) I am just so flabbergasted by her kind and efficient response and action, my paperwork was done and sent immediately, and I could not be more grateful. Thanks also to Dr. Lazar who wrote a detailed letter and sent the diagnostics pictures to my place of work in order to facilitate my leave. Rarely are doctors offices so efficient and helpful. It’s a rarity and deserves to be pointed out! More

Dr. Lazar is an excellent, caring doctor who makes enough time for his patience to address all concerns and answer all questions. He is knowledgable and approachable and has a terrific manner. My mother and I are both his patients and we are very happy under his care. The only issue is that is very busy office, so be prepared to wait for your appointment and sometimes in between testing/examination. More

Dr. Elkins and his team did a great job in preparing me for my cataract surgeries and successfully completing for both eyes. My vision is again 20/20 and I am amazed at the depth of color and brightness I again can see.Thank you!Ric C More

The doctors are overall pretty good at what they do and when they work on you, they are efficient and effective. That’s why I saw patients in the waiting room coming here from Beverly Hills. What I don’t like is that the office isn’t open on weekends and they tend to close rather early on the weekdays which means people have to take time off work to make visits. The scheduling for procedures is booked a bit far but not too far in advance, so there is a bit of wait time. With a large staff, the examination and surgery appointment availabilities could be improved. More

Ophthalmology Associates Of The Valley is the absolute best! Dr. Elkins was beyond amazing and really took the time to educate me through all my options. Dr. Elkins did my Lasik surgery. It was quick and painless! He walked me through the entire surgery which helped me feel very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Also, I don't want to forget to mention Ana (Dr. Elkins surgery coordinator) she was professional and very sweet. She coordinated everything seamlessly which I appreciated. I'd definitely recommend them to all my family and friends. More

Dr Brad Elkins is the best ophthalmologist ever!!! Dr Elkins performed my mom Khalida’s cataract surgery and she’s very satisfied with the results. The Dr is very comforting and compassionate and really took care of my mom. I have been going to Dr Zeegen for over 35 years and find him one of the most compassionate doctors I have had. He treats you more as a friend or family member then a patient. He take the time to explain everything he is doing and continues to ask if you have any questions. You never feel rushed and he waits for you to leave the room rather then running out once he has completed his examination. I highly recommend him for anything related to your eyes. More

But during Covid, I was told that fewer doctors were working at the same time so there would be fewer people waiting in the waiting room and much shorter wait times as patient visits would be scheduled further apart. None of that was true. I still had to wait 45 minutes to get into a room. And a person working in the office said that they never had said that to anyone. They get to everyone eventually, when they have the rooms and personnel available. If you are only going once a year, and plan for a long wait (bring a jacket because it can be quite cold while waiting), then it is worth seeing him. More
